A crypto address opened a leveraged Google (GOOGL) long worth $14.3 million on Oct. 29. The position showed a $154,000 unrealized gain, while the account’s cumulative profit exceeded $2.03 million.
Displayed as 0xab9…219e6, the account held 50,000 GOOGL units with 20x leverage and entered at an average price of $283.01. The $154,000 figure was unrealized, meaning it reflected the open GOOGL position rather than profit from a completed trade.
Roughly 19 hours before opening the GOOGL position, the account exited a Micron Technology (MU) long for a reported $1.637 million profit.
Separately, earlier EconoTimes coverage reported a rise in GOOGL-linked open interest alongside Alphabet’s share decline. That report put marketwide contract value at about $637 million, up 64.32% over 24 hours, and Bitget’s open-interest reading at $52.69 million after a gain of more than 69%. Open interest counts outstanding contracts on both long and short sides, so those totals do not show whether traders expected prices to rise or fall.
