Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus ended their marriage less than a year after tying the knot in December 2018. Their divorce was finalized early this year and it was reported that the ex-couple may be seeing each other in court again.
Liam taking Miley to court?
Based on the report published by New Idea this week, Liam Hemsworth is taking legal action against Miley Cyrus for defamation. The former “Hannah Montana” star allegedly said some things that are damaging for the Australian hunk so he is taking her to court soon.
Miley reportedly made an allegation that Liam was into partying and booze which caused her to leave him and break their marriage. The songstress was said to have revealed this info during her previous interview with the Rolling Stone magazine.
In the interview, Miley Cyrus was said to have admitted her drug use and she went on to reveal details about her marriage to Liam Hemsworth but they were all “nasty” things.
“It looked like I was living some fairytale. It really wasn’t,” the 28-year-old “Midnight Sky” singer told the magazine. “At that time, my experimentation with drugs and booze and the circle of people around me was not fulfilling or sustainable.”
The singer further said that while the media portrayed her as a dutiful wife after marrying Liam Hemsworth, many were also questioning her sanity. As she speaks more of her marriage, she hinted at some point that it was her ex-husband who is the wild one during their relationship.
Liam’s reaction to the interview
Apparently, Liam was put in a bad light, and although he wants to keep a quiet life after his controversial divorce, he also needs to speak up and clear his name. He wants to clarify things and he could only do this through legal means.
“The last thing he wants is to end up in court with Miley again,” the insider told New Idea. “But his team is considering their position, not only in terms of the confidentiality agreement but also how these continual put-downs might affect his reputation.”
The truth
Gossip Cop revealed that Liam Hemsworth is not suing Miley Cyrus which means this report is totally false. There is no lawsuit and both camps have moved already with their new partners.
Although there is truth in the claim that Miley did an interview with Rolling Stone, she did not make Liam a bad guy. Besides, she discussed more about herself, her addictions and how she sobered up. Overall Gossip stated that this is just a clickbait report from an unreliable source.
