SNDK liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX reached $14.27 million in a one-hour period on Nov. 6, with long positions accounting for nearly all of the reported closures.
The tally combined publicly available liquidation data from the three exchanges. It covers those venues only and does not represent activity across the wider market.
The total comprised $13.73 million in long liquidations and $540,000 in short liquidations. Longs made up about 96% of the total, exceeding shorts by $13.19 million and amounting to about 25 times the short-side value.
Long positions generally benefit when prices rise, while short positions generally benefit when prices fall. Liquidation refers to an exchange closing a leveraged position when a trader’s margin falls below the required level. The figures measure positions closed, not counterparties’ net gains or losses.
