‘Lost In Space’ season 2 air date, spoilers: Harder times await the Robinson family as they search for the Robot

“Lost in Space” season 2 almost here and the Robinson family will be back with more adventures. However, it will be a tough time for them as they will be facing a number of big crisis on the new planet.

As they were attacked by being redirected to an unknown planet that they were not supposed to be in, the family met their lifesaver - an alien Robot. It was Will, the youngest child, who befriended it, and the machine helped them to get through with their life in the strange world.

Finding the Robot

The Robot also saved them a few times, but in one fight, he disappeared, and the Robinson family has yet to know where he is and what happened to him. Based on the most recent video teaser, John (Toby Stephens), Maureen (Molly Parker), Penny (Mina Sundwall), Judy (Taylor Russell) and Will (Maxwell Jenkins) are in grave danger now that there is no one to protect them in “Lost in Space” season 2.

This means that the situation will only get worst for the Robinsons as more attacks and enemies are expected to show up. It should be noted that still, the main focus in “Lost in Space” season 2 is finding the Robot. Will’s attachment to his alien friend heightened his determination to find it together with his parents and sisters.

In the video, Will said, “I know he’s out there somewhere, and I’m not going without him.” This line proved the depth of his friendship with the Robot, and he will find him no matter what. However, they will also face new hurdles as monsters, and other aliens showed up to destroy them.

The plot summary and release date

According to the press release, the official synopsis for “Lost in Space” season 2 reads: “There’s more danger and adventure ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the always charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists.”

It was added that the threats they will face and their mission to find the Robot will lead to unexpected discoveries. Such new information will help them get back to their original route that will bring them to Alpha Centauri.

"Lost in Space" season 2 will be back on Netflix this coming Dec. 24. All 10 episodes will be released on the same day for the fans to binge-watch.
