Fans of the Morning Star himself finally have reason to rejoice since the premiere date for “Lucifer” Season 4 is already out there and accompanied by a truly magnificent trailer. It would appear that the appearance of Eve (Inbar Lavi) will bring all kinds of complications that only the original sinner can. On top of the question of revenge, there is also the love triangle involving Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Chloe (Lauren German) to address.
Netflix has finally deigned to allow a glimpse into the wonders that are the events in Lucifer” Season 4 via the new trailer below. It contains amazing scenes and hints at the troubles to come. To start with, it would appear that Chloe is unable to wrap her head around the fact that Lucifer is actually the Lucifer, The Wrap notes.
This strain in the relationship will appear to have a rather negative effect on Lucifer in that he will spiral out of control. Upon meeting Eve again, however, it would seem that he has found a band-aid for his broken heart. Thus the love triangle between these three characters is born in “Lucifer” Season 4.
While the trailer did not specifically call out the implications of having Eve be involved in the life of Lucifer, there is the obvious question of what her real intentions are. What’s more, the story behind the relationship between these two obviously goes deeper than what the bible depicts. “Lucifer” Season 4 could go either way in terms of whether Eve is just a love rival or someone out for revenge.
Either way, fans will find out the answer soon enough when “Lucifer” Season 4 premieres on May 8. This is definitely going to be a fun season if only because it promises some tantalizing plot points about love, revenge, and acceptance.
