Dubai services have resumed for Aegean Airlines and on Manila-Dubai routes served by Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific, while Lufthansa Group has pushed its own return to Nov. 25.

In a Friday, Oct. 23 update, Lufthansa Group cited conditions in the Middle East for moving the planned restart of Lufthansa, SWISS and Eurowings. The revised plan projects a weekly high of 28 Dubai flights but does not give the total for the opening phase. Eurowings' planned Cologne/Bonn and Stuttgart routes are removed from the group's 2026/27 winter schedule.

The change replaces an earlier rollout that had Lufthansa and SWISS returning in late October, with Eurowings due to follow in November. The group said it is gradually restoring its wider Middle East network and that schedules could change with little notice. The update continues EconoTimes' earlier coverage of Lufthansa Group's Dubai timetable.

Aegean Airlines said flights to and from Dubai resumed Friday, Oct. 23. Its notice did not state a weekly frequency. Philippine Airlines began Manila-Dubai service Oct. 2, with an initial schedule of four flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The airline said service could increase to daily as operations allow.

Cebu Pacific said it resumed Manila-Dubai flights July 2, with four flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The UAE's official holiday calendar designates Dec. 2 and 3 for National Day. Austrian Airlines remains scheduled to begin five weekly Vienna-Dubai flights on Dec. 12.
