MEXC has announced no common deadline for customers covered by its planned service exit from Russia and Belarus, leaving them to await individual instructions while the crypto exchange says their assets remain safe.

The instructions will tell each affected customer how to close open positions and withdraw assets, with a timetable specific to that account. MEXC has not disclosed how many accounts the plan covers.

The exchange linked the decision to its global compliance efforts. It did not identify a law, regulator or sanctions measure behind the move.

Customers who have not received an official notice may continue using MEXC under its terms of service, as EconoTimes reported when the exit was announced. The planned withdrawal therefore depends on which customers receive notices, rather than setting one departure date for all users in the two countries.

For affected customers, the next step is the individual notice setting out their timetable and withdrawal procedure.
