The MLB (Major League Baseball) will open its first brick-and-mortar store in Malaysia at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya in partnership with local distributor Valiram Group as it further expands in Southeast Asia.
The Instagram-worthy retail space aims to become the go-to location for caps by offering over 300 traditional and modern styles, which is the largest selection in Asia
It will also offer a variety of clothing, headwear, footwear, and accessories for both men and women.
In a joint venture with Vietnamese distributor Maison Retail Management International (MRMI), MLB opened its first physical store in Cambodia earlier this month.
The first MLB store was established in 1997 by the South Korean clothing business F&F after receiving the official license from MLB.
Asia is home to over 650 MLB locations, including those in South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore.
