IRVINE, Calif., Jan. 31, 2018 -- A trio of groundbreaking women – former F-14 Tomcat pilot Carey Lohrenz, four-time Olympic gold medalist Janet Evans, and survivor of two traumatic accidents Allison Massari – co-headline a rule-breaking keynote experience at MTC Expo, the event for media, technology, and commerce leaders. The keynote address will take place on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 5:30 pm in Hilton San Diego Bayfront’s Sapphire Ballroom to kick off the 2018 trade show and conference, which runs through April 26, 2018.
Lohrenz, Evans, and Massari each will share their experience, wisdom, and passion during three unique 20-minute presentations.
“Attendees are sure to be talking about this powerful keynote event long after the MTC Expo concludes,” says, John Yarrington, publisher of Response Magazine and executive director of MTC Expo. “When highlighting courage, resilience, perseverance, leadership, and performance, these three women have done it and seen it all. We’re thrilled that they will set an incredible tone for MTC Expo.”
As the first female F-14 Tomcat pilot, Lohrenz was a pioneer in military aviation. She is uniquely qualified in the fundamentals of winning under pressure, reducing errors, and overcoming obstacles. Her experience in the all-male environment of fighter aviation and her ability to pass on the lessons learned in her career allow her to deliver insight and guidance from a credible platform. Her ability to connect with both an audience and on a one-on-one level has made her highly sought after as a business consultant and leadership speaker. Lohrenz is the author of “Fearless Leadership: High-Performance Lessons from the Flight Deck.”
A winner of four Olympic gold medals and one silver medal, Evans broke a total of seven world records in three long-distance freestyle swimming events during her career. As vice chair of the LA2028 Organizing Committee, Evans works to ensure that the athletes of the world have the best possible experience at the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. A highly sought after motivational speaker, Evans executes speeches for top companies in varying fields including technology, healthcare, real estate, telecommunications, apparel, banking, insurance, non-profits, and many others.
Massari’s message of courage, kindness, and resilience resonates with participants long after an event has finished. Having triumphed over two traumatic accidents, one where she was severely burned on more than 50 percent of her body, Massari captures the hearts of audiences, demonstrating how to move forward with speed and grace. Massari has dedicated her career to catapulting individuals and organizations toward total success, mastery, and fulfillment.
