Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton recently attended a Wimbledon match to support their friend Serena Williams. While many were delighted to see the duchesses getting chummy, a tabloid claims that it was all for a show.
Radar Online claimed that Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton were just forced by the palace to show the people that they are on good terms and that they are best friends. But the truth, according to the tabloid, is they do not get along at all.
“The palace was hoping that Kate and Meghan would become best friends but so far that hasn’t happened,” a source reportedly told Radar Online.
It further explained that the reason for the discord between the Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge is the fact that the latter is not a warm person. It was added that Kate hates being around people especially if she does not know them, while the former “Suits” actress loves to hug and kiss people.
With this report, Gossip Cop stepped in to invalidate the allegations. It said that what the tabloid wrote about Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton is totally erroneous.
It also brought up the fact that Radar Online’s supposed "insiders" who divulged the supposedly real kind of relationship that exists between the duchesses are not reliable. This is because they cannot be identified.
The rumors about Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s sour relationship have always been a trending topic. In fact, it started even before the former actress and Prince Harry announced their engagement. The women were also being compared, so it is no wonder that there are reports that try to pit the two women against each other.
Nevertheless, the reports are not true. As reported by Entertainment Tonight, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are getting along well. They have become closer, particularly after the May royal wedding. The online magazine pointed out that the duchesses’ growing connection was very clear when they attended the Wimbledon match on July 14.
