Ackerman, who partners with Oliver Burgelman at Zephyr’s Noe Valley office, is well known for his impeccable ethics and fair negotiations. He is a consistent Top Producer and has been with Zephyr for nearly 20 years.
His business is built on a solid foundation of referrals and repeat clients. As one satisfied customer states it, “Michael is aces. He knows San Francisco better than anybody I’ve ever met, but from a practical and real estate perspective. I’m sure there’s no better.” – Phil E.
The BAR’s annual readers' poll is a way for readers to endorse and support LBGT-friendly people, places and things they like in the Bay Area. Categories include arts and culture, nightlife, dining, community and more. New categories this year were best ice cream/frozen yogurt, best choral group and best gym.
“As you can imagine I'm a little taken aback as I never saw this one coming let alone knew I was in the running,” commented Ackerman. “Many thanks to you all for your support; it is very much appreciated.”
Voting was open from February 2 through March 2, and winners were honored and celebrated at the BAR Besties party at Oasis on April 6. The Besties is not a formal awards show. Rather, winners and finalists read the special Besties edition of the Bay Area Reporter to find out who won, and then join the party and entertainment.
“We congratulate Mike on yet another honor,” commented Aimee Arost, Sales Manager at the Noe Valley office. “His clients clearly appreciate his expertise and dedication.”
Ackerman may be reached at 415.307.5850 or [email protected].
Ackerman is the second Zephyr agent to receive this honor. Last year’s Best Realtor winner was Katharine Holland from the Upper Market office.
