An older, bolder Paris Jackson recently spoke with The Rolling Stone about her famous father’s pain, heartache, and his uneventful death. The 18 year-old model told the magazine that her father expressed his fear at one point to her, and probably even to one of Jackson’s exes, Lisa Marie Presley.
"He would drop hints about people being out to get him. And at some point he was like, “They're gonna kill me one day.” Absolutely. Because it's obvious. All arrows point to that. It sounds like a total conspiracy theory and it sounds like bullshit, but all real fans and everybody in the family knows it. It was a setup. It was bullshit,” she said.
Vulture said that although Jackson blames Dr. Conrad Murray for her father’s demise, she is reportedly biding her time to face the alleged killers head on. Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. Michael died from an propofol overdose.
When probed further, Jackson hesitated for a few seconds before coming up with an answer about the people behind the pop star’s death.
She answered, "Of course. I definitely do, but it's a chess game. And I am trying to play the chess game the right way. And that's all I can say about that right now."
Following the publication of the interview, Jackson asked for privacy on her Twitter account. It read, "I will not be answering any press regarding the Rolling Stone article whatsoever. If you have questions then read it, it's crystal clear."
