Tech enthusiasts and fans of Surface Books are very much looking for the newest Microsoft Surface Book 3. However, it seems to be taking a while for Microsoft actually to release the machine.
With no actual release date yet for Microsoft Surface Book 3, people started to guess when it will be arriving. People have mentioned dates based on the existing information available online, and they simply connect the dots to come up with the possible day of release although some make sense, it cannot be confirmed.
New date suggestion
Now, when Microsoft recently announced and invited the media to its event in New York City, the possible launch date became the topic of the again. The event is set to take place on Oct. 2 and many are convinced that the American tech giant will also be unveiling the Microsoft Surface Book 3 on this same day.
There are rumors that the upcoming Microsoft event will be Surface-focused thus there is a high chance that Microsoft Surface Book 3 will also come out as a surprise. The company is expected to reveal new devices on this day and perhaps updates on the existing products will be unveiled as well.
Surface Book 3 specs
It was predicted that the Microsoft Surface Book 3 would feature a dual-screen that was codenamed Centaurus. This screen was reportedly already seen by Microsoft’s employees earlier this year, as per Windows Central.
In any case, the third-gen of Surface Book will have longer battery life, improved functionality and updated hardware. New Surface earbuds may also come out while the hardware will include NVIDIA RTX.
The Microsoft Surface Book 3 may also have the USB Type-C port just like in the Surface Go and Surface 2. It is also expected that this machine will have the latest Intel processor which could either be the 10th Gen Comet Lake or Ice Lake.
Lastly, tech experts believe that the third Surface Book will be fitted with an AMD chip for faster speed over-all speed, Tom’s Hardware reported. Whether Microsoft Surface Book 3 is coming this October or not, the specs, features and other details specified in various publications could be accurate.
