Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were quite the item prior to their divorce in 2015. The ex-couple’s relationship had been really popular among people, particularly those who are fans of country music.
It isn’t clear what exactly caused the split but gossip publications speculate that there may have been infidelity committed by both. Of course, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton denied such a thing and said that they parted on amicable terms. In fact, it only took 10 days for their divorce case to get settled.
After the split, both singers found happiness in their next relationships, but more so for Blake Shelton. Following his breakup with Miranda Lambert, the “I Live It” singer started seeing Gwen Stefani, with their romance sparking on the set of “The Voice.”
Three years later, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are still going strong despite gossip publications claiming otherwise. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert didn’t find the level of happiness that the “Boys 'Round Here” singer did, bouncing from one relationship to the next hoping to find that one person who would ultimately stay.
The songstress’s latest heartbreak involved Evan Felker, with their romance only lasting for six months. After the split, Miranda Lambert supposedly is drowning her sadness and loneliness by “partying hard,” Life and Style claims. Additionally, the magazine alleges that Lambert is jealous of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s relationship, which causes the “Tin Man” singer to seek solace in alcohol even more.
"They're worried her drinking is out of control and that she's just numbing the pain of another failed relationship. Friends and family have been so concerned that they've been considering an intervention,” a source allegedly told Life and Style. But given the tabloid’s reputation, this supposed source and the article should be taken with a grain of salt as the publication has previously written bogus claims regarding Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.
However, the possibility that the songstress is indeed going through an emotional turbulence is highly likely. After all, when it’s all said and done, Miranda Lambert is still human. But Blake Shelton’s ex-wife isn’t one to let her pain get the best of her.
"I think I'm still gonna go through all those bunch," Miranda Lambert told Cosmopolitan in 2015. "I'm sure I have a hundred more heartbreaks ahead of me. We all do. But I'm a songwriter, so I'm okay with it. My favorite records are not because people lived fully happy lives. There are pockets of sadness."
This sort of mindset is what makes Blake Shelton’s ex-wife such an inspiration to others who are going through the same thing. And while the songstress is currently going through an emotional journey right now, she’s likely going to overcome it in the same way that she conquered her previous heartbreaks.
