“Mob Psycho 100” just released a new visual on its website for fans in anticipation of the second season's broadcast. The teaser visual was picked up by Twitch streamer pKjd, who tweeted via their personal Twitter account the aforementioned visual with a hint of updates every month for the show until its broadcast date.

Fans of the series have had to wait at least two years since the first season of the much-beloved anime aired in 2016. “Mob Psycho 100” touched fans through the story of Mob, a regular kid who turns out to be a powerful esper and now has to learn how to control his powers through the guidance of his master, Arataka. The show is also the brainchild of “One Punch Man” creator, One. But unlike its sister series which has been recently picked up by Viz Media, “Mob Psycho 100” already has a confirmed broadcast timeline.

The enigmatic "One Punch Man" creator himself, One, has already tweeted about “Mob Psycho 100” being scheduled to air its premiere in January 2019. The tweet included one of the first key visuals – an image of a tower collapsing with two characters featured who can be assumed to be Mob himself and Arataka.

With “Mob Psycho 100” season 2 still six months away from its target broadcast period, the show's key visuals are currently the only source for fan speculation about what's to happen in season 2. There have yet to be preview trailers for the second season. The show's promotions seem to be lacking in comparison to One's “One Punch Man” despite its already confirmed broadcast time period.

It seems that One's biggest project will be the upcoming “One Punch Man” Serious School Festival with Viz Media on Aug. 12. The festival, which will be held at the Omiya Sonic City Hall, will let One's fans know whether “One Punch Man” season 2 will beat “Mob Psycho 100” season 2 to the punch.
