Both Jim and Anuj will be based in Mooreland's Silicon Valley office and be part of the firm's global Enterprise Software industry practice group.

Jim Schroder has over 20 years investment banking experience in senior technology banking positions with Arma Partners, Lehman Brothers and Montgomery & Co. in Silicon Valley, New York and London. Jim has successfully led over $35 billion in M&A and financing transactions with a broad array of SaaS, Software and Private Equity firms including SAP, Adobe, Aspect, Deltek, Genesys, Neustar, VASCO, Verint, Verisk Analytics, Accel-KKR, Golden Gate Capital, GTCR, Insight Venture Partners, Permira, Summit Partners, Vista Equity Partners and Warburg Pincus amongst a host of others.
Prior to joining Mooreland, Jim led all aspects of Arma Partners' US technology M&A business in Palo Alto, and originated and executed nearly all of the firm's US-based client engagements for nine years. He has extensive experience advising public and private companies on domestic and cross-border M&A in both sell-side and buy-side transactions. Jim holds an MBA from Yale University, a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering (with Distinction) from the US Naval Academy, an advanced program in Nuclear Engineering and served as a fast attack submarine officer in the US Navy.
Anuj Ralhan has nearly 10 years experience in technology investment banking with Stephens Inc. and GCA Savvian where he has advised clients on M&A, debt and equity capital raising transactions. Prior to investment banking, Anuj worked in the security software industry with Cornerstone Technologies, Symantec Corporation and Riptech in product management, sales and marketing roles. Anuj earned MBAs from Columbia Business School and the Walter A. Haas School of Business through the joint Berkeley-Columbia Executive MBA program where he graduated with Honors. Mr. Ralhan also graduated from George Washington University with a Masters degree in Engineering Management and the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelors degree in Economics. Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Security Practitioner (CISSP).
