There is no doubt that Midoriya is the start of “My Hero Academia” but “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209 is expected to see Bakugo stealing the spotlight in his match. It would seem that the upcoming chapter will be all about the explosive youth and his evolution to becoming a pro hero. It seems even All Might will be impressed by him. On the other hand, All-For-One is also being teased to make an appearance and will supposedly have a connection with Deku.
It has been clear since the previous chapter that Bakugo is going to have a significant role to play in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209. He could even snag the first victory of class 1A since the practice matches started. Based on leaks and translations that have been circulating online, it would seem that this is exactly what happens in the chapter to come.
In a Reddit thread, an unofficial translation of “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209 was posted. As with all things unofficial, it’s worth taking this particular detail with a grain of salt. However, if it does end up being real, it could have a profound impact on the overall narrative of the current arc.
“Class A and Bakugo are being praised and All Might tells them they made him shiver (they impressed him). Bakugo sends out an explosion and Deku answers. Class B is cautious about Deku. I'll become the bait to trap our enemies. AFO ‘I hear my little brother's voice’,” the translation reads.
Once again, it’s worth taking this translation with a grain of salt. For all anyone knows, “My Hero Academia” Chapter 209 could turn out quite differently to what this translation seems to imply. Readers will find out if this is the case when the chapter is released on Dec. 7.
