“My Hero Academia” Season 4 will be introducing new characters, as well as expanding the stories of those who have been briefly touched upon, Newsweek reported. One of the characters that will take center stage in the upcoming installment is Sir Nighteye.
For non-manga readers, Nighteye is All-Might’s previous sidekick and Mirio Togata’s mentor. In “My Hero Academia” Season 4, Midoriya will be trying his luck to conduct his apprenticeship under this Pro Hero. Given that Nighteye is one of the most well-respected and diligent icons in the community, it’s no wonder that the young protagonist takes a special interest in Nighteye. He’s the lean man with the glasses in the new trailer.
Kai Chisaki, also known as Overhaul, will be another character whose story will be expanded. A cold and ruthless killer, Overhaul has the power to dismantle matter itself. While he’ll be an antagonist in “My Hero Academia” Season 4, Overhaul will also collide with the Villain Alliance.
The skirmish resulted in the deaths of two villains – one member for each group. After the messy collision, both sides will back down with Overhaul proposing another meet-up in the future. Overhaul is the plague mask-wearing character that can be seen in the official preview of “My Hero Academia” Season 4.
The last character we’ll be discussing is Eri, a character who’ll be playing an integral role in the overall threat of the fourth installment. In “My Hero Academia” Season 4, Overhaul’s organization will develop a weapon that can deactivate a person’s Quirk. At the core of its creation are Eri and the mutation that her body has undergone.
The six-year-old has the Rewind Quirk, which allows her to turn back a person’s body into its previous form. This ability ranges from healing injuries to reversing an individual’s body until they cease to exist. When her blood is weaponized – used as a bullet, for instance – it can temporarily stop a person’s Quirk. It goes without saying that this poses a massive threat to the population, which is why she’s going to be the main priority of the heroes in “My Hero Academia” Season 4. As for the release date of the fourth installment, it’s been scheduled for release this coming October, Otakumode reported.
