“My Hero Academia” chapter 270 will reveal just what happens to Shigaraki Tomura. While he appears dead in the recent chapter, there is still a chance that he will awaken. The more exciting thing is that even a half-baked Shigaraki will be a force to be reckoned with.
‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 269 recap
The recent manga chapter, which can be read online on Mangaplus, began by showing Mirko barely able to move after sustaining multiple injuries in her battle with the high-end Nomus. Even Endeavor was impressed that Mirko was able to fight multiple high-ends by herself in around five minutes.
Endeavor immediately treated Mirko by cauterizing her wounds. Despite her injuries, Mirko was insistent that they destroy the vat that contained Shigaraki. “Don’t let Shigaraki wake up!” Mirko shouted. “He’s not just some small-time thug! Not anymore!”
The high-end Nomu known as Woman expressed pleasure in meeting Endeavor, anticipating another battle. “You’re number one,” it said. “Make me feel more amazing.” It also called out to the other high-ends. Thankfully, Eraser Head, Crust, X-Less, and Present Mic already arrived so a battle ensued.
Kyudai Garaki assessed the damage to the vat containing Shigaraki and was pleased that while the machine is damaged, the data is still intact. “Perfect, just have to wake him up before more fluid leaks out,” the scientist said.
However, he lamented the fact that Shigaraki will only come out as a half-baked product. “All For One and me… this was meant to be the culmination of our dream… Blast it all!” the scientist cried before shouting Tomura Shigaraki’s name to wake him up.
But before Shigaraki could awaken, Present Mic used his quirk to attack. To Kyudai Garaki’s horror, the vat containing his masterpiece completely shattered exposing the villain’s body.
Seeing Tomura’s body, X-Less checks it but found that the villain’s heart already stopped and he was not breathing. “He’s in a deathlike state to better withstand the burden of the process,” Kyudai explained. The scientist added that the capsule was meant to revive him if necessary.
Pro-heroes reinforcements soon started to arrive. Kyudia lamented that he’s been living for Shigaraki’s sake and, with the vat already broken, he fears that the Lord of Evil’s dream will die as well.
‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 270 speculations
Tomura Shigaraki’s fate will be revealed in “Boku no Hero Academia” 270. While he might appear dead in the current chapter, there’s still a chance that he might be revived in the upcoming manga installment.
The manga’s plot has been building up Shigaraki’s power-up process for quite some time now. In fact, most fans are probably hoping to see just how powerful the villain has become after the upgrades done by Kyudai. The writer’s effort in building up the villain’s character would all be in vain if Shigaraki will just die like that even without fighting a single battle.
While “MHA” chapter 270 might see Tomura finally waking up by some miracle, he won’t be the perfect creation that Kyudai envisioned him to be. The reason is that he is still not at full power at the moment and the power-up process was abruptly halted with the vat’s destruction. However, a half-baked Shigaraki should still be a force to be reckoned with.
“My Hero Academia” chapter 270 release date is scheduled on May 10. Stay tuned for updates.
