“My Hero Academia’ chapter 273 will show just how much damage Shigaraki’s decay has caused. The pro-heroes will likely assemble a team consisting of its strongest members to go against the powered-up villain in the next “MHA” manga installment.
It was Deku who first knew something very powerful was coming “Boku no Hero Academia” chapter 272. In fact, he stopped in his tracks as he heard a mysterious inside his head, which prompted Todoroki to accuse him of slacking off.
Deku realized that it is the voice of the first possessor of the One For All quirk. “He is coming, stop him,” the voice told Deku. “The blowback will soon be here. We don’t have long to speak.”
The first possessor warned that the foe is a formidable one, referring to Shigaraki who became even more powerful thanks to Dr. Garaki’s power-up process. “A transcendent one is coming,” the voice added. “Freed from the shackles of humanity, his power now swells.”
As everyone was busy evacuating the entire city, X-Less watched in surprise as Shigaraki suddenly sat up and complained that he’s cold. Garaki, who was being transported by other pro-heroes away from the lab, suddenly smiled when he noted signs of Shigaraki’s decay quirk.
In just a few moments, the entire hospital was destroyed by decay. The pro-heroes noted that Shigaraki’s decay quirk has been enhanced as it can now spread to things he hasn’t even touched.
The city quickly became chaotic as there is indeed no doubt how powerful Shigaraki has become. With that one attack of his Decay quirk alone, countless buildings were reduced to rubble. The pro-heroes did their best to evacuate the citizens.
Perhaps only one person was happy with the sudden reemergence of the Decay quirk. Dr. Garaki was beside himself with joy when he realized that Shigaraki woke up and has begun his attack on the heroes.
“All that you heroes have built, he will do upon awakening,” the scientist shouted. “Victory is ours!”
Indeed, Shigaraki’s single attack upon waking up seemed to have already tipped the battle into the Paranormal Liberation Front’s favor. No one present can counter him and all they could do was flee.
In “Boku no Hero Academia” chapter 273, the pro-heroes will likely send a team of their strongest fighters to deal with the newly awakened villain. However, it remains to be seen if they would be effective against the powered-up Shigaraki.
In the previous “BNHA” manga chapters, it was revealed that Garaki implanted the All For One quirk on Shigaraki. If the process was successful, it would mean that the villain can just steal the quirk of anyone sent against him.
This could mean that Deku will play a major role in defeating Shigaraki. After all, only he possesses the quirk that can’t be forcibly taken from him, the One For All.
“My Hero Academia” chapter 273 will be released on May 31, 2020.
