‘My Hero Academia’ chapter 284 release date, spoilers: Tomura close to meeting Gigantomachi; Deku uses Blackwhip to stop Shiagaraki’s Decay quirk

Gigantomachia was able to penetrate many cities and left a trail of destruction as he passed by them. This showed that the UA students’ plan to put him to sleep by injecting some tranquilizer on him did not work.

Then again, the game is still not over, it was suggested that there is still a chance that the giant can still be sedated because there could be a plot twist later when the tranquilizer only has a delayed effect. This means that Gigantomachi may still collapse at any time.

Even so, while the giant has not met his master yet to aid from his fight with the heroes, he already did so much damage to several cities that really disappointed the UA students and the heroes. They have failed to contain the huge villain and allowed them to enter the populated area to meet Shiagaraki.

The giant is on his way to meet Tomura in “My Hero Academia” chapter 283 and he destroyed everything on his path due to his massive size. On the other hand, while waiting to reunite with Gigantomachia who can help him get away and crash the heroes including Endeavor, Shigaraki continues to fight some of the pro-heroes.

In particular, while the giant is coming closer, he is in a battle with Deku who realized that Shiagaraki’s body can’t fully handle All for One quirk since he is still incomplete when taken out of the lab. He was only at 75 percent completion when he was forced awaken by the heroes as they were trying to kill him off before he wakes.

With this observation, Deku successfully protected the rest of the heroes from Shigaraki’s Decay quirk in “My Hero Academia” chapter 283.

“My Hero Academia” chapter 284 will show Gigantomachia and the rest of the League of the Villains finally meeting their “liberator.” However, it is yet to be seen how they will act together.

Although it was previously predicted that Shiagaraki will be much more powerful when he and his people get together, it is not yet certain if this will really be the case since his development was not completed.

At any rate, Deku made use of his Blackwhip to protect the warriors from Tomura’s Decay quirk attack that already killed and injured many heroes. There is still hope that the giant will not be of much help to Tomura in “My Hero Academia” chapter 284 when the tranquilizer finally works and incapacitate him.

Release date

“My Hero Academia” chapter 284 has been delayed for a week so it was not released last week. Its new date of arrival is on Sept. 18 as per Otakukart.
