EMERYVILLE, Calif., April 09, 2018 -- Leading industry experts will gather to discuss the current state of the mortgage industry at the Orlando Mortgage Leadership Roundtable on April 13, 2018 at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, FL. The free event is being hosted by National MI, a subsidiary of NMI Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:NMIH) a private mortgage insurer, along with Capital Markets Cooperative (CMC), a Computershare company with 400+ members that participate in CMC’s various programs, including secondary marketing services, and BKD, a national CPA and advisory firm. Registration is required.
Jeff Harry, CMC’s executive vice president, sales & marketing, will provide a secondary market overview for attendees. Tammie Lowrie, partner with BKD, will review the critical role of internal audit in operational excellence.
Other speakers include:
- Julie Jones, credit risk analyst at Fannie Mae, will provide an update on Fannie Mae’s activities related to improving lender efficiencies and the quality of originations.
- Cultural Outreach Solutions (COS) Founder Kristin Messerli will speak on the top social media trends for 2018. COS specializes in helping companies in the mortgage industry better reach and serve multi-generational and multicultural homebuyers.
- Allan Weiss, CEO of Weiss Residential Research, LLC will be presenting next-generation home price analytics and along with Gene O’Brien, CEO and chairman of Home123, will discuss how those analytics and other technology can be leveraged to grow business and manage risk.
- Dana Wasson, senior manager for Accenture, will discuss disruption in the mortgage industry.
- Chip White, homeownership programs administrator for Florida Housing Finance Corporation will provide an overview of Florida Housing’s loan programs with down payment assistance.
