Nestlé-owned Sweet Earth Foods has included Vegan Jumbo Hot Dogs made of a pea and potato protein base in its portfolio and reformulated its Awesome Burger, to provide a beefier texture and a more authentic burger experience.
The Vegan Jumbo Hot Dogs offers an authentic weiner experience and can be grilled or cooked in a skillet.
Sweet Earth claims that its new hot dog is 23 percent bigger than its top competitors.
Meanwhile, the Awesome Burger will be the first on the market to consist of a mix of hemp and protein from fava beans and pea.
Sweet Earth Foods also launched a plant-based jerky, which is its first shelf-stable snacking product.
