‘New Girl’ season 6’s episode 19, titled “Socalyalcon VI," will follow Jess as she worries about Reagan acting too much like Nick’s girlfriend on her return from a business trip. Meanwhile, Schmidt and Cece will try to adjust to their new home while worrying about safety and security.
The synopsis for episode 19 posted on TV Guide reads, “Jess (Zooey Deschanel) worries that Reagan (Megan Fox), who's just returned from a business trip, is spending too much time as Nick's (Jake Johnson) "girlfriend." Meanwhile, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone) worry about security in their new home; and Aly (Nasim Pedrad) tells Winston (Lamorne Morris) an embarrassing secret.”
It seems that Jess isn’t all too happy about Reagan’s return to the loft after time away on a business trip. The titular character is concerned about how much Reagan is spending time with Nick. According to Christian Post, Jess will be disconcerted about the fact that Reagan is acting too much like Nick’s girlfriend.
Although Jess and Nick have long since broken up, it was always hinted that Jess continued to have feelings for him. Despite this complication, however, she never failed to support him and stay with him as a good friend. It was even speculated that Nick and Jess’ romance will be rekindled somehow.
Reagan was initially hesitant about taking her relationship with Nick on the next level, specifically with moving into an apartment with him and his ex-girlfriend. It will be interesting to see how Reagan and Nick’s relationship will progress in the upcoming episode.
Meanwhile, newly married couple Schmidt and Cece will be obsessing over the security in their new home. In the promo, the two are trying to settle into their new place but will be heavily paranoid about its safety and security.
By the end of the promo, Schmidt and Cece run into a room when they hear a sound of someone breaking in. They are relieved to find that the “burglars” are only Nick and Jess.
‘New Girl’ season 6’s episode 19, titled “Socalyalcon VI," is scheduled to air on Fox on March 14, 2017. It will be followed by episode 20, titled "Misery," scheduled to be released on March 21.
