‘New Girl’ Season 6, Episode 8 Spoilers: "James Wonder" – Jess Attempts to Impress Parents’ Council for Principal Position at School, Enlists Winston’s Help

‘New Girl’ season 6’s episode 8, entitled "James Wonder", will follow Jess as she attempts to impress the president of the Parents’ Council to award her the principal position at her school. She will enlist Winston’s help for the task as he puts his undercover skills to the test.

The synopsis for “James Wonder” posted on TV.com reads, “Jess' (Zooey Deschanel) efforts to land the soon-to-be-open principal's job require her to impress the difficult president of the Parents' Council. Meanwhile, Winston's (Lamorne Morris) undercover skills are tested; and Nick (Jake Johnson) can't seem to find the perfect wedding gift for Schmidt and Cece.”

The promo features Jess announcing to her roommates that she could possibly be the next principal at her school. Nick offers his congratulations and jokes that if she finds any marijuana in her students’ locker, it’s automatically theirs to share in the loft. Jess replies, “You just got yourself two weeks detention, Mr. Miller.”

It already seems set in stone but she may need to convince the president of the Parents’ Council that she is worthy of the promotion. Despite her current position as the school’s vice principal, she may need push herself further to convince the president, who has been standing against her campaign.

According to Ecumenical News, Jess may enlist Winston’s help to get her the promotion at work. Winston may use his undercover skills to pretend to be a member of the Parents’ Council as Jess vie for the position.

Meanwhile, Nick will struggle with finding the perfect wedding gift to give his friends Cece and Schmidt. The two tied the knot in the season 5 finale.

‘New Girl’ season 6’s episode 8, entitled "James Wonder", is scheduled to air on Fox on November 29, 2016. It will be followed by episode 9, entitled "Es Good", scheduled for December 6.

The American sitcom was developed by Elizabeth Meriwether and first premiered on the network on September 2011.
