Three New Orleans Hotel Collection properties came in among the “TOP TEN” New Orleans hotels in the Conde´ Nast Travelers Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards, which were announced earlier this month. The Collection hotels chosen included Hotel Mazarin, Hotel Le Marais and the iconic Bourbon Orleans Hotel. This is the fourth consecutive year that these hotels have been awarded this honor. All six locally owned and operated Collection hotels exemplify the city’s well known charm and hospitality. The three chosen in the readers’ poll combine 19th-century ambience with 21st-century luxury in the heart of the historic French Quarter.
No other hotel company has multiple properties on the Top Ten list for the city. The recognition provided by this prestigious magazine for the hotels of the Collection highlights the authentic atmosphere, attention to service and carefully designed and maintained hotels of the group.
More than 300,000 travelers participated in the elite magazine’s 30th annual survey, submitting millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments. Readers responded to questions about hotel accommodations, service, food, ambience, decor, facilities, amenities, surrounding neighborhood and value. Conde´Nast is one of the world’s foremost magazines for discriminating travelers, earning more editorial, design and business awards than any other.
The highly coveted award is also reflected in these hotels extremely strong ratings on Tripadvisor.com, a nationally recognized hotel rating system.
