Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly on the verge of breaking up but they are still trying to make it work so they opted to attend a couples therapy. This news was originally reported by In Touch Weekly and it based its story on the narration shared by supposed “insiders.”
One source allegedly told the tabloid, “Keith and Nicole have been through hell and back over the last couple of years and it’s no secret they’ve come close to splitting.”
It was said that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban actually almost called it quits earlier this year but they managed to hanged on after going for therapy and started following a list of rules like regular date nights and vacations, to attain a harmonious relationship. The latter supposedly realized how important his wife is to him after attending the therapy so things are going great again.
The therapy also helped Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban to connect on a deeper level as their spirituality also improved, with their faith in God being reawakened.
Gossip Cop firmly debunked this rumor because the couple’s marriage was not on the rocks in the first place. The fact-checking site also mentioned that the couple also had been previously reported to be seeking divorce due to Keith Urban’s infidelity while there were also stories that stated the couple is breaking up due to the country singer’s struggle with addiction. Such divorce reports go as far as 2007 but apparently, they were all lies and the couple is still very much together.
It should be noted that the “sources” in the In Touch report were not named and could not be trace either so they are considered unreliable - if they even exist. In any case, in September, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were also said to be fighting as the latter wants to keep his farmhouse where he can hang out like a bachelor, and this was another one of the couple’s fabricated “separation” stories.
One thing is sure, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are still together and they do not need couples therapy because they have no issues in their marriage right now.
