India’s Nifty 50 rose 1.58% on Nov. 3, closing at 23,810.85, while NDTV Profit identified the U.S. midterm election outcome as a focus for the next Indian session.
National Stock Exchange of India data showed the index gained 370.05 points from its previous close of 23,440.80. The advance followed a 1.68% rise in the prior session, according to EconoTimes’ earlier report on the index. The index had touched 23,610.70 earlier Tuesday, as our report on its early trading noted.
NDTV Profit attributed the technical view to Sudeep Shah, SBI Securities’ head of technical and derivatives research. Shah said 23,930–23,950 could be tested in the short term. He also identified 23,650–23,680 as support and 23,650 as the threshold for the advance to continue, the outlet reported.
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) lists Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, as the next regularly scheduled federal general election date. NDTV Profit’s preview covered India’s Nov. 4 session, putting the U.S. election immediately before the next session on the calendar.
