Nike and Jordan Brand are revisiting iconic colorways with two exciting releases. The Nike LeBron Witness 8 borrows the classic “Bruce Lee” black, yellow, and red palette, while the Air Jordan 1 Mid adapts the “Bred” colorway for kids, blending Bulls-inspired tones with a fresh twist.
Nike Honors Kobe Bryant with LeBron Witness 8, Featuring the Iconic ‘Bruce Lee’ Colorway
LeBron James' admiration for Kobe Bryant has been well-documented, from their on-court battles to the iconic puppet commercials that captured the essence of their rivalry and camaraderie in the late 2000s. Nike pays homage to that connection with a fresh edition of the LeBron Witness 8.
Inspired by one of Kobe Bryant's most beloved Protro releases, the Kobe 5 “Bruce Lee,” this upcoming LeBron Witness 8 mirrors the signature black, yellow, and fiery red colorway. While the model doesn't feature the claw mark near the forefoot, the oversized lion logo on the heel adds a distinctive touch, bringing a bold and powerful element to the design.
The LeBron Witness 8 “Bruce Lee” is set to hit shelves as 2024 draws to a close, retailing at $110.
Jordan Brand Revamps the Iconic ‘Bred’ Colorway for Air Jordan 1 Mid, Set for Early 2025 Release
Jordan Brand, known for frequently revisiting its iconic colorways, is set to release a new iteration of the “Bred” colorway, one of its most revered designs. As Jordan Brand’s 2025 lineup takes shape, a Jordan 1 Mid showcasing a variation of the “Bred” colorway has emerged.
Though not a replica of the classic “Bred” look, this new Jordan 1 Mid keeps the essence alive using Bulls red, black, and white. The most noticeable change comes at the collar, where the red and black tones are swapped, giving the shoe a fresh twist. The white Wings logo and black outsole further distinguish this version from its predecessors.
With the 2016 Jordan 1 “Bred” now fetching around $300 in grade school sizing, this new release offers an affordable way to tap into that championship-era legacy. The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Bred” is projected to be released in early 2025, with grade school sizing priced at $110 and adult sizes expected to retail for $125.
