Nike Unveils Tekken 8 x Foamposite One 'Jin Kazama' with Bold Design and Tekken-Inspired Details
Nike and the iconic fighting game franchise Tekken continue their unexpected collaboration with the release of a new Tekken 8 Foamposite One in October. Following the success of the Kazuya Mishima-inspired design, the latest release pays homage to his son, Jin Kazama.
Jin Kazama, an antihero within the Tekken universe, sees his character reflected in the sneaker’s bold design. In a report by Sneaker News, the pair features a cement-like “Photon Dust” and “Metallic Dark Grey” shell, with black leather and mesh around the tongue and eyelets. The otherwise monochrome palette is punctuated by red lining and Tekken 8 branding on the tongue. The outsoles showcase the words “Fist” and “Fate,” symbolizing characters like Jin fighting to shape their destinies. Like the Kazuya colorway, this design balances subtle Tekken references and appeals to Foamposite collectors.

Patta Teases Upcoming Air Max 90 'Waves' Collaboration, Set for Release in Summer 2025
Patta continues to cement its status as one of the top collaborators on the Nike Air Max 1 with its upcoming venture into the Air Max 90. Known for past grails such as 2009’s “Chlorophyll” and “Purple Denim” colorways and the highly sought-after “Wave” AM1s from 2021-2022, Patta is now set to revisit the “Wave” theme with their upcoming Air Max 90 release.
The collaboration marks a return to the Air Max 90, the subject of Patta’s first sneaker collaboration in 2006. That original release, inspired by Amsterdam’s 420 culture, remains a fan favorite with its green and orange accents. Nearly 20 years later, Patta’s upcoming “Waves” version is already building anticipation. While details are scarce, the release is projected for mid-2025.
