(Corrected "Emma's child" to "Belle's child")
‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 9, entitled “Changelings”, will follow Belle as she enlists the help of Hook and Emma to help her immobilize Rumple in the wake of his evil plans.
The synopsis for “Changelings” posted on Cartermatt reads, “In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, Rumple (Robert Carlyle) collects Jack and Jill’s son as bait to lure a powerful being to him. Back in Storybrooke, Gold tells the Evil Queen (Lana Parilla) that she must kill Zelena (Rebecca Mader), and the EQ makes a decision that will change her relationship with her sister forever.
When Belle (Emilie de Ravin) discovers Gold’s plans for their son, she convinces Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to help her steal squid ink that can immobilize him, and, as a result, Belle is left to make a sacrifice that will affect the lives of everyone in Storybrooke.
Meanwhile, Jasmine (Karen David) finds a genie-less lamp that she hopes to use to save Agrabah, and Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) finds a way to be her hero.”
The incoming episode’s title refers to children, who are substituted by fairies in place of real children early in life. It may be that part of Rumple’s plan is to steal her unborn child by replacing the child with a fairy. This is bound to put Belle and her unborn child in more danger than expected.
In the promo for episode 9, Belle enlists the help of Hook and Emma to steal squid ink for the purpose of countering Rumple. However, it seems that Rumple is out to do whatever is necessary to stick to his wicked plans and will stop at nothing to get Belle’s child.
It seems that the antagonist is getting more powerful and more vengeful by the minute. Rumple warns Hook, “Do not dare question me again.” By the end of the promo, Belle looks to be having pregnancy complications or even going into labor that sends her screaming in pain on a birthing bed.
According to TV Line, co-creator Adam Horowitz teased the state of Belle and Rumple in the series. He said, “The audience doesn’t know where we’re headed with Belle and Rumple, but no matter how dark things get, the show doesn’t go bleak. It’s still about hope, and it’s always darkest before the dawn.”
‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 9, entitled “Changelings”, is scheduled to air on ABC on November 27, 2016. It was directed by Mairzee Almas and written by David H. Goodman and Brian Ridings. It will be followed by episode 10, entitled "Wish You Were Here", scheduled for December 4, 2016.
