“One Piece” episode 883 will finally move forward to one of the most exciting parts of the current arc, the infiltration of Mariejois by the Revolutionary Army led by Sabo. Meanwhile, the arrival of prominent leaders at Levely will also continue.
Teasers for “One Piece” episode 883 all confirm that the anime series is finally reaching the final scenes of a single manga chapter where the latest episodes were based. At the beginning of the 30-second preview, fans can see Lindbergh and Sabo sneaking into Mariejois. The Revolutionary Army’s highest-ranking leader is Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon. Directly below him in the hierarchy is his appointed chief of staff, Sabo.
It is then very possible that, aside from scenes of sneaking into Mariejois, “One Piece” episode 883 will also include some sequences where members of the Revolutionary Army would have discussions. This is to let anime fans know what their real goals are and why they have planned against the World Government. At this point, some members of the Revolutionary Army will clarify that they are not aiming to take down the entire World Government, but only the “celestial dragons that control” it.
The last couple of episodes were filled with flashbacks while, bit by bit, showing prominent leaders arriving at Mariejois. But the teaser for “One Piece” episode 883 suggests that anime fans will see some present-time action as Sabo knocks out someone in the alley.
The short preview of “One Piece” episode 883 also shows that more characters are arriving at Mariejois as well. As mentioned, a single chapter has apparently been stretched to several anime episodes. But it appears that the next installment will contain its final events. Aside from the revolutionaries’ infiltration of Mariejois, King Neptune and the gorgeous Mermaid Princess are arriving in the Reverie.
However, the most interesting leader arriving in “One Piece” episode 883, airing on May 5, is King Sterry, the current ruler of the Goa Kingdom. The episode preview did not show his entire face but Luffy’s grandfather, Monkey D. Garp, is also arriving and will show that he could not care less about Sterry’s presence.
