“One Punch Man” fans anticipating news about the show's second season will be glad to know that the One Punch Man Serious School Festival is less than a week away. In anticipation of the event, “One Punch Man” even had a massive marathon of the first season last Aug. 5 to hype up fans on what might be significant news about “One Punch Man” season 2.

With the relative silence of VM Media regarding the anime side of the franchise, the upcoming festival is the best upcoming source for any news about “One Punch Man” season 2. Aside from the festival, concrete news about the show's second season has been as far back as the past March, which confirmed that the series was in production and the news that Garou, former disciple of Bang, will be voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa, confirming the significant return of the potential villain.

With the Saitama drought for fans having gone past the three-year mark, “One Punch Man” season 2 may be getting its big reveal trailer on the festival date as the series was silent even during the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 and Anime Japan.
Aside from the season 2 announcement, fans can also expect to encounter much SWAG during the Serious School Festival, with the official “One Punch Man” Twitter page showing previews of keychains and character standees that fans can avail of.

If the giveaways aren't convincing fans that the One Punch Man Serious School Festival is the event to be at, they have a week left to decide whether to find out for themselves in person on Aug. 12 what the future of “One Punch Man” season 2 holds.
