Fans of western comic books will likely be familiar with the term “anti-hero,” which is used to describe characters using dangerous and lethal methods to achieve a higher purpose. One example of this is Marvel’s “Punisher” who shoots criminals and villains dead. Could “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 7 hint at Garou falling under the same category?
While it doesn’t do it as well as the manga, “One Punch Man” Season 2 has done a good enough job that anyone paying attention might understand why Garou is the way he is. In “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 7, there could be even more clues to point to his character going in a certain direction. The episode will be airing next week, OtakuKart reports, and it might be the most interesting one yet.
Simply put, “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 7 could be the episode that sees the face of this season’s real villain. On top of that, it could hint at the turn that Garou will take when confronted with foes truly worthy of his attention. In fact, if the events in the anime do follow the manga, this is exactly what will happen.
It might not happen in “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 7, specifically, but Garou will be approached by members of the monster group currently causing mayhem in the show. He will be extended with an invitation to join their ranks. He will likely refuse and quite violently, at that. Then, something will happen that will put him squarely against the monsters; even forcing him to hunt them down.
The events leading to this will likely start in “One Punch Man” Season 2 Episode 7, which is set to air on May 22. Western audiences will be able to watch the episode via Hulu if they want the official portal.
