Orion Innovation said its expanded OI NEBULA suite became available to enterprise customers worldwide Nov. 3, adding AI software-development tools to examine older applications and supervise coding assistants.

Orion describes NEBULA as a platform that brings specialized AI agents into different stages of software work. The agents can help teams plan, develop and test software, as well as handle architecture, security and deployment, the company said.

One new tool, OI GORDIAN, examines existing applications to identify how they behave and are organized, according to Orion. The company says it can surface business rules, data structures, workflows and connections among system components to support legacy modernization.

OI GANTRY is designed to check AI coding assistants while work is underway and before code review, Orion said. It flags hallucinations, stalled sessions and output that departs from project specifications. The company says GANTRY can monitor Cursor, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.

Orion says the enterprise suite lets customers set governance controls, keep human reviewers involved and apply engineering standards. It also includes tools to address security issues in real time. Customers can deploy NEBULA on premises or in private cloud environments, the company said.

Orion Chief Technology Officer Rajul Rana said businesses need more than AI code-generation tools. “They need systems that deliver end-to-end software,” Rana said.

The company said the update draws on more than a year of work in live settings and feedback from production use. Orion did not name the clients involved or disclose performance results, pricing or contract terms.

Orion said Oct. 8 that it had achieved ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for an artificial intelligence management system. Its NEBULA announcement cited the certification in connection with responsible AI, risk management and accountability.
