For those who only watch the anime and read the manga, “Overlord” Season 4 is a mystery. What events will unfold in the upcoming season to top those that occurred in the first three? How about the appearance of dwarves, Ainz fighting ice dragons and accidentally conquering an empire? There will also be some awesome character-building for fans to look forward to.
As of now, there is no telling how much of the existing light novels will be adapted into “Overlord” Season 4. However, if the immediate events that occurred after the war are taken into consideration, the journey to the dwarven kingdom and Ainz’ secret journey into the empire will likely be covered. Those parts hold plenty of promising events all on their own.
For example, after Ainz meets with the dwarves, he will have access to technology that will allow him to create top-class weapons. This will then add to the manufacturing capabilities of his new kingdom. “Overlord” Season 4 will also prove just how powerful Ainz is after facing off against multiple ice dragons and overcoming them with ease.
Before this, though, Ainz will pay a visit to emperor Jircniv’s territory in secret so that he can participate in an event. He will do this only after making some reforms in the adventurer’s guild in E-Rantel. Suffice it to say, this part is going to involve plenty of hilarity and action that will make “Overlord” Season 4 well worth looking forward to.
As of now, it isn’t known if the conclusion of the Jaldabaoth storyline will be included in “Overlord” Season 4. If it is, there will likely be plenty of censorship involved since that particular arc has some gruesome scenes.
There has yet to be an official announcement of when “Overlord” Season 4 will be dropping. However, it would be safe to assume that it will be coming between 2020 and 2021, with season 5 coming soon after.
