This week there were reports that say Netflix has canceled “Ozark” season 4. Fans waited for almost two years for the third installment to be released, so now they are shocked when news about its removal from the streaming provider’s show lineup emerged.
Did Netlfix really take the show out from its programming lineup?
There are many questions regarding its future, and many viewers are worried because Netflix has not renewed “Ozark” season 4 yet even at the time of this publishing. Moreover, the news of cancellation started after some fans noticed that the series no longer exist on Netflix’s website.
Likewise, on Reddit’s discussion page about “Ozark” season 4, some wrote that the show might have been removed by Netflix, and this immediately sparked news that it was already canceled. There are fans who visited the site to watch the previous seasons, but they were very surprised and got confused when they can’t find the show on the list.
Many shared that when they were not able to view the series on June 11 as it vanished without notice. “Recently started watching Ozark, enjoying it and halfway through Season 1,” the discussion starter wrote. “Tried to Google but nothing to say it's been removed?”
Others also mentioned the countries where they are watching Netflix from, and it turned out that “Ozark” also vanished in countries like the U.S., Spain, and more. In any case, the fears for the cancellation subsided soon when someone posted an update.
He said that it seems that “Ozark” is back up on Netflix’s site. The fan deduced that it could have just been a glitch on the website.
“Just checked again and it is back,” he wrote. “Must have been a glitch.”

“Ozark” season 4 is still waiting to be greenlighted by the streaming service provider giant. The third season was released in March, and it’s only been three months since then, so it is not yet time for fans to panic at this point.
Additionally, with its awesome rating, the show is too good to be axed. As per Deadline, the crime drama always appears on top of the rating chart, so it is more likely to be renewed. “Ozark” season 4 has no release date yet, but it was predicted to arrive in 2022 since filming may start next year.
