One solid proof that the “PUBG Mobile” 0.17.0 update is on track to getting released in early February is the fact that it has been launched in beta for a few weeks now. However, Mr.GHOST GAMING spotted an online post made by PUBG Mobile Russia through its official Telegram channel on Thursday. It seemingly suggests that something big is happening in the “PUBG Mobile” 0.17.0 update, specifically the release of Erangel 2.0. But it is still best to take it with a pinch of salt since it is interesting why the global fan pages for the game are silent about the sought-after feature.

The Erangel 2.0 map was first previewed last August. The 30-second video shows that nothing much is being changed in the layout of the classic “PUBG” map. But the side-by-side comparisons show how the more vibrant colors and more detailed environment would make the gaming experience much better. Considering the time that has already elapsed, it is not surprising that the excitement of some fans has already turned into disappointment.

The past year shows that the latest patches are usually deployed within the first half of each month, and developers approached in quite a consistent manner. That was still the case with “PUBG Mobile” 0.16.5 in the opening of 2020, so avid fans can count on it happening again for the next update.
