Playboy Playmate Jaylene Cook’s $40K Solana Date Sells Out on Only1

Jaylene Cook offers a date for $40K in Solana on Only1.

A recent viral sensation has emerged as Jaylene Cook, a Playboy Playmate, sold a date for $40K in Solana on Only1, a crypto-based platform. This unique transaction highlights the growing intersection of cryptocurrency and exclusive social engagements.

Jaylene Cook's $41K Solana Date Offer Sparks Twitter Frenzy and Highlights Only1 Platform's Appeal

According to Decrypt, digital currency Jaylene Cook has recently become the primary subject of conversation on Twitter for an extended period, even though Twitter's attention span is typically short-lived, as new controversial topics rapidly replace the previous ones.

This is due to Only1, a crypto alternative to OnlyFans on the Solana blockchain, where she offered three tickets for a date with her for 250 SOL, or a comfortable $36,000 each as of this writing.

The benefits of her top-tier Date Night Pass include 1-on-1 video calls, the opportunity for her to fly you out or to you (at the buyer's expense), a five-star hotel arranged with a date, and bragging rights that you dated a Playboy Playmate.

When the date was purchased for approximately $41,000 in SOL last week, Cook again went viral, and the topic continues to be discussed. In an exclusive interview with Decrypt, she debated the viral date offer and why she admired the Solana platform

Cook, a former Playboy Playmate, was well-versed in the complexities of sexual entertainment. Nevertheless, she was captivated by Only1 from the instant the platform contacted her.

"Only1 had reached out late last year, informing me of their platform and their goal of being the OnlyFans of Web3," Jaylene recalled. "I didn't sign up right away but loved the idea, so I kept them on my radar."

Nevertheless, she reconsidered her stance after engaging with Ansem, a prominent Crypto Twitter influencer recognized for advocating meme currencies such as Solana's Dogwifhat (WIF). He collaborated with Only1 to launch an "Ansem's Angels" promotion to increase the platform's visibility. The influential influencer received a 5% share of sales. Only1 does not provide referral incentives in any other capacity.

"I had been engaging with Ansem online when Only1 reached out again, this time to discuss becoming one of 'Ansem's Angels' for a campaign they had planned,” she said. “I saw this as a tremendous opportunity to onboard new users and creators to the platform."

The allure of Only1 was not limited to a distinct method of sharing exclusive, gated content. Jaylene emphasized the platform's distinctive features compared to conventional platforms such as OnlyFans.

"I like the fact that Only1 being on-chain allows the customer to have true privacy," she said. "From a creator's perspective, the biggest issues with traditional platforms such as OnlyFans are issues with payment processing. Only1 solves this issue as the payments go directly to your wallet, providing creators with peace of mind and full control over their earnings."

Only1's Transaction Volume Surpasses $62K, Offering More Authentic Experiences than OnlyFans

In addition to Cook and her "Date Night," Only1 reported last week that the transaction volume for primary permits on Only1 sales had exceeded $62,000 in the previous two weeks.

Decrypt was informed by a subscriber of Cook's and other creators who requested anonymity that the experience on Only1 is more "authentic" than on other sites, such as OnlyFans.

"I believe that the individuals on the platform are currently engaged on Twitter and other platforms that are associated with cryptocurrency," they stated. "It does appear to be more authentic than the experiences of other models or pages with whom I have interacted." It is more genuine because you continually observe them conversing in Spaces or tweeting, or you know they are pretty active.

Nevertheless, they have encountered what they perceive as inaccurate assumptions regarding the status of a subscriber.

“I do think it’s a big misconception about being a ‘simp’ and sending money for attention with girls because I do feel—at least from the experiences that I’ve had—that you can actually build a genuine connection,” they said. “Obviously the monetary aspect sometimes makes it blurred, but at the end of the day you both know the situation.”

“I do find it enjoyable to be able to talk to girls that I wouldn’t on a regular basis, or be scared or shy to come up to in person,” they added. “Doing it online helps.”

Jaylene has expressed her willingness to engage in real-life interactions with her admirers despite the virtual nature of her involvement thus far. She has yet to reach that stage but has been generally satisfied with Ansem's Angels' reception and costly engagements.

“Joining Ansem's Angels came with its share of surprises, both good and bad,” Cook admitted. “I always expect FUD with campaigns like this, but I was surprised at just how much there was. It was perfect for making the campaign go viral and certainly landed a lot of eyes on the project."

Jaylene Cook Finds Support and Launches Meme Coin 250SOL to Counter FUD

Despite the hatred and noise, she discovered a sense of camaraderie among her fellow creators online.

"We all support each other's content and hype each other up, because we understand the power of networking," Cook explained. "There’s also an element of safety and other things we chat about, along with ideas and feedback on how to continue improving the product and experience for all users.”

Jaylene Cook responded to the controversy surrounding the 250 SOL date with her fun and resilience. She even introduced her meme coin, 250SOL.

“The meme coin was created as a sort of ‘fuck you’ to the FUD and a reminder to stay bullish on yourself,” she said. “I wanted to do something fun for the degens that were fueling the FUD.”

"It made me feel like I had just bowled a strike!" she laughed. "I've been in space long enough to know that a little hate is bullish and FUD is fuel.”

Cook maintained his silence regarding his plans, but he suggested changes on the horizon. "I'm a big believer in under-promising and over-delivering," she teased. "So I guess you'll just have to wait and see."

What about the individual who acquired the 250 SOL date? They have yet to disclose their identity to the public.
