‘Poldark’ Season 3 Spoilers: Aidan Turner Teases Ross may Strip Naked Once More, Attends Private Screening in London with Co-Star Eleanor Tomlinson

‘Poldark’ season 3 star Aidan Turner teased that his titular character Ross Poldark may strip naked once more. Turner was also spotted out and about in London after attending a private screening with his co-star Eleanor Tomlinson, who plays his on-screen wife Demelza.

According to Express, the 33-year old Irish actor teased that his character Ross Poldark may strip naked once more in the upcoming season. During a recent interview, he coyly revealed that he has already done so several times in the past and in “every job” and that he would “insist” on it happening again should the series need more steamy scenes. When asked if he would bare his body for the camera more, he replied, “If it seems right and not gratuitous.”

The upcoming season will pick up several months following the events of its predecessor. It will also put focus on Ross’s love triangle with his wife Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) and ex-fiancee Elizabeth (Heida Reed). Much of the previous season’s final episodes focused heavily on the aftermath of Ross’s infidelity following one night of intimacy with Elizabeth.

Turner revealed during another interview, “We’re several months down the road. I think when we start the series, we feel that Ross and Demelza has already had the discussions and the arguments and the plates have been thrown already…They’re in a place where they’re obviously aware of the huge possibility that Ross could be the father.”

It was speculated that Elizabeth may have gotten pregnant from her encounter with Ross and that her husband George (Jack Farthing) is not her unborn child’s real father. Turner added, ““It’s certainly very tentative and a very delicate situation. But it’s the waiting game, isn’t it? It’s the window to see whether Elizabeth will give birth in the time that it takes and determine the father.”

Meanwhile, Turner was spotted with his co-star Eleanor Tomlinson as the two attended a private screening of the upcoming season in London. According to Cornwall Live, Turner and Tomlinson were photographed leaving a shop in Soho. The instagram image posted by lady_oakenshield_ showed Turner in casual jeans and leather jacket while Tomlinson was more dressed up in a feminine suit.

‘Poldark’ season 3 is expected to premiere sometime in June 2017. It was commissioned by BBC One last July 2016.
