Poland's producers' price index was -2.2% in May. The PPI data for June month scheduled to release today is expected to give a positive sign.
Societe Generale estimates, PPI of the country to have increased to -1.7% yoy in June from -2.2% in May, whereas, in monthly terms PPI is expected to have increased by 0.5%, mainly due to higher manufacturing costs.
According to the bank, "Downward pressure is still significant and PPI should remain below zero until end-2015. Therefore, growth of 0.6% mom is expected."
