According to recent data from SAMAR, Poland's car production growth decreased to -4.0% yoy in September from 28.2% in August which may have weighed on industrial production.
"Poland's industrial output growth is expected to have decreased to 4.8% yoy in September from 5.3% in August while in monthly terms of the data should show an increase of 16.0%. Our figures are slightly above the market consensus", says Societe Generale.
Year-to-date car production currently exceeds 496,000 units which is 10.9% higher than one year ago. Also, the PMI decreased from 51.1pts to 50.9pts in September but this shouldn't affect industrial output growth too much.
