The unemployment rate is expected to have decreased from 10.0% in August to 9.9% in September. The seasonally adjusted (SA) unemployment rate should be close to 10.2%. The forecast is in line with market consensus and labour ministry data of 9.9%. According to the Polish labour ministry, 126,000 job offers were reported in September which denotes growth of 8.6% yoy.
Moreover, the number of registered unemployed people (1.54m) came in 22,600 lower than in August and remains at its lowest level since 2008.
"We expect the unemployment rate to be below but close to 10.0% at the end of 2015", says Societe Generale.
