Polish wage growth likely to have remained strong in August

Polish August wages data are set to be released tomorrow. Wages are expected to have maintained strong growth.

According to an Erste Group Research, Poland’s nominal wage growth is likely to have risen 6.8 percent year-on-year in August. This is slightly below the market consensus of 7 percent growth.

The strong growth in wage is expected to further translate into rising demand pressure and higher core inflation figures, which have already indicated signs of picking up in August, stated Erste Group Research.
