At 9:25 a.m. ET (13:25 UTC), Binance’s DOT/USDT pair was quoted at $1.14, down from $1.19 one hour earlier. The 24-hour measure at that point showed a 1.07% gain.
Live market data showed DOT at $1.14 with a 0.89% 24-hour gain as of 9:41 a.m. ET (13:41 UTC). The daily gain had narrowed, even as the reported spot price stayed at $1.14.
The figures cover different periods. The hourly loss compares the 9:25 a.m. ET quote with the price one hour earlier; each 24-hour reading measures the rolling day through a different update time. The percentages can therefore point in opposite directions: DOT fell during the shorter interval but remained higher over the longer one. The later 24-hour gain was smaller than the earlier reading, although the reported spot quote stayed at $1.14.
