UK's EU referendum proposed by Prime Minister David Cameron before the election, where a No might lead to UK's exit from European Union if an ongoing negotiations between European Union and UK goes sour.
Though both parties as of now willing to cooperate and reach a mutually beneficial agreement, concluding it might prove difficult as some of the issues might require a change in European treaty, which needs approval of all members.
A poll from Survation which provide more detailed view, suggests that swing voters are likely to play crucial role.
This makes the campaigning by Pro and anti EU members extremely crucial.
Results -
- Poll reveals 30% are likely to vote strictly in favor of YES, while 23% in favor of strict NO.
- 18% of the voters are genuinely undecided and 3% are completely confused.
This leaves large chunk of 26% as swing voters, who might switch sides based on the negotiation result and campaign.
- 12% of the swing voters are favoring YES as of now, while 14% are in favor of NO.
