Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly asked by Queen Elizabeth to get back to the U.K. at once and resume their work. Last month, it was announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are leaving for a six-week break.
They have been reported to be flying to the U.S. and will likely stay with Meghan's mother. They will fly here directly as soon as they get off work from their royal duties.
The couple is also said to be spending the holidays in Los Angeles and will probably meet up with Meghan's friends from Hollywood as well. Now, while Queen Elizabeth agreed to give them some time off because they were having a difficult time after constantly being attacked by the media, it was reported that Her Majesty is calling them back, and she wants them in the palace as soon as possible.
The Queen’s order
Life & Style magazine reported that the call to return to their duties is actually an order from the 94-year-old British Monarch. She supposedly gave the order because the Royal Family is in crisis. Things have not been going well for them, especially after the scandal involving Prince Andrew has started.
“Meghan and Harry disappeared at what’s turned out to be the worst possible time, and it’s not gone well with the family,” the source allegedly told the publication. “The queen’s now demanding they get back to work.”
Is it true that Her Majesty wants Harry and Meghan to get back to work?
Gossip Cop immediately debunked this rumor because the report does not make sense. The fact-checking site stated that even if Prince Andrew’s scandal is a big crisis that the Royal Family is forced to deal with, it still does not require Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to rush back and return to their royal duties.
Besides, Prince William and Kate Middleton are around to help the Queen, plus Prince Charles is also in the palace as well. The publication went on to say that this Prince Harry and Meghan Markle report should not be believed because the publication that reported it can’t be trusted. It explained that it has a poor track record when it comes to reporting true stories.
