Prince William and Kate Middleton are no doubt, the most popular members of the British royal family. Since they got married, the attention was on them, and the media constantly report about their activities and almost every move.
The interest in them by both the media and the public was unbelievable, and in fact, even before the Duchess of Cambridge was confirmed to be pregnant with her and Prince William’s first child, the fans started to predict what the baby will look like.
Many also used an app to create an image of how their child will look and the results proved to be far from reality as Prince George, Louis and Princess Charlotte’s actual images show no similarity with their “predicted looks” photos.
The looks of the Duke and Duchess’ kids based on experts and artists’ renditions
One of the popular renditions of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s kids’ looks prediction was made by Suretha Erasmus, a genetic counselor. At that time, Kate and Prince William had no idea yet that they are having a son because they prefer to follow the royals’ tradition of waiting until the birth to find out the gender, as per UK’s The Sun.
In any case, Erasmus together with graphics expert Theuns Kruger created mocked-up baby photos as a prediction to how the Duke and Duchess’ child will look like. Although they clearly juxtaposed the couple’s facial features to create a new look, now that Prince George, Louis and Princess Charlotte have all been born, the predictions are clearly inaccurate.
The reality
The photos have no similarity to the children. They don’t look-alike in any way so some people just find the photos hilarious. Even if their parents’ traits were clearly there, none of the kids look the same as predicted in the baby impressions.
The truth is, Princess Charlotte looks like her mother and in some of her photos, she is also the spitting image of her father. According to The Daily Mail, Charlotte’s strong resemblance to her mom is shown in a photo of Kate taken in 1985 when they were around the same age.
On the other hand, she also looks like Prince William in another photo. The shape of her face and hair color is the same as the Duke when he’s younger. Prince George and Louis are also a mix of Will and Kate and they are good-looking as their parents.
