There are many possible plot twists that “Prison Break” season 6 could offer. But it might also go back to its roots by putting Michael (Wentworth Miller) at the center of another grand escape plan along with an all-new tattoo.
“Prison Break” season 6 will pick up from a fairly peaceful ending. Michael’s records of illegal activities were expunged that made it possible for him to start a new life.
It was also implied that Michael decided he is done with all the heists as he refused to work for the CIA again. This just meant that off-the-screen, Michael somehow got his happy ending with Sarah (Sarah Wayne Callies) and their son. So what are the chances that he would leave that quiet life in “Prison Break” season 6?
Whoever is going to be in trouble in “Prison Break” season 6 has to be someone very important to force Michael out of retirement. But who could that be is very difficult to predict for now. Almost everyone from the original cast has already experienced escaping from prison through Michael’s plans. And, at this point, the series creators will most likely want to avoid repeating familiar story arcs.
Michael’s tattoos have been fundamental to the previous seasons and storylines. There was a time he surgically removed his tattoos but fans saw him having a new skin art in season 5 that also played a major role in getting him out of prison. So it is understandable if, among other things, fans are curious about Michael’s tattoos in “Prison Break” season 6.
Showrunner Paul Scheuring also revealed previously that “Prison Break” season 6 episode 1 will go back to the very first scenes of the entire show. He was clearly referring to Michael’s tattoo session in prison at the time when he was planning to get Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) out.
Scheuring was possibly teasing about opening “Prison Break” season 6 with another tattoo session. Meanwhile, Digital Spy also suggested that he might be referring to revisiting that exact same scene to tell the stories that preceded that moment. In that case, the upcoming season could be a prequel installment.
The time frame for the production of “Prison Break” season 6 is still unknown. While Purcell assured fans that the project is still happening, he said no one knows yet when it is going to be released.
