CHICAGO, Oct. 12, 2017 -- RedSky Technologies, Inc., the leader in E911 solutions, today announced that RedSky’s Horizon Mobility™ solution has successfully completed integration testing for use on the BroadSoft BroadWorks® platform.
“RedSky’s Horizon Mobility™ platform offers a simplified implementation and use of E911 Service to the BroadSoft BroadWorks™ SIP-based Call Control platform. The importance of tracking phones and employees that move is much more common in today’s SIP based phone systems like BroadWorks™. RedSky simplifies the “find, route, notify” processes for E911 setup and calling both for stationary and for phones that move in today’s distributed IP networks,” per Tony Maier, CEO of Redsky Technologies, Inc.
Horizon Mobility™ is a commercial implementation of the NENA i3 Next Generation 9-1-1 architecture. The technology enables a phone to request its location when it moves and enables the phone to send its location when the phone dials 9-1-1. The technology is SIP-based and it integrates with RedSky’s E911 Anywhere® cloud service which can accept and route 9-1-1 calls to any 9-1-1 center in the USA and Canada.
BroadSoft was born in the cloud, and after 19 years of non-stop innovation is hands down the global market share leader for cloud-based business communications. BroadSoft is the market leader offering their service provider channels financial strength, proven reliability, security and breadth of fully integrated solutions - including unified communications (UC), team collaboration and contact centers.
